SJIS is a Catholic School that will be a centre for the evangelization of whole Himalayas, calling students from Sikkim, Bhutan and Nepal, adopting the NBE (Non-Bussiness Education) System, promoting permanent Missionary Volunteering (for short and long periods) with Indian and Foreign volunteers, having an apostolic mindset full of Holy Spirit, for the eternal salvation of the souls, the expansion of the Kingdom of God and the highest glory of God, giving to the privileged Indian youth the opportunity of self denial in order to glorify God and serve the most poor and forgotten children.
